The right sided holster lid has rubber latches on the front and the back, so it can be taken completely off. Basically, remove all of the vet “stuff”, store it in a safe place with the holster lid, thoroughly sanitize and disinfect the cooler, put on the plain side lid and you have a regular roto-molded cooler!
